PME SAUDI DRYICE BLASTING
PME Saudi DryIce Blasting and cleaning is an Industrial cleaning system which is non-abrasive and moisture-free leaving no residual dirt. These are some of the areas where Dry Ice Blasting service has become highly relevant and indispensable. Dry ice blasting does not create secondary waste or chemical residues and is non-abrasive, non-conductive, non-flammable, and non-toxic. It reduces personal contact with harmful chemicals and is an environmentally friendly cleaning method approved by the FDA, EPA, and USDA. Dry ice blasting can safely replace environmentally dangerous solvents and is less costly.
Before repainting old corroded flaking surfaces, dry ice blast cleaning is a better way to clean and prepare the surface for its new coating. The component is immediately available to paint – no waiting for drying or dangerous solvents to be removed.

Preventive maintenance
Dry-ice blasting (Cryogenic cleaning) is a process that involves projecting small particles of dry ice that are around 3 mm in diameter super-fast by using a jet of compressed air. Dry ice is made of carbon dioxide (CO2) that once cooled to -78°C and compressed turns into a solid form. Its effectiveness is derived from the three chemical reactions that simultaneously occur during cleaning:
Kinetic energy: the impact of dry ice particles that are being projected at high speed by the jet of compressed air.
Thermal shock: the thermal effect created by dry ice particles that create a tension between the residue and the surface being cleaned.
Sublimation: the rapid expansion of dry ice particles, which upon contact with the surface become 800 times larger, creating micro-explosions. When it comes to decontaminating, dry-ice blasting gets into all the nooks and crannies that other methods can’t reach. It’s a quick, safe, non-toxic solution that’s very effective. Its semi-abrasive power allows us to remove contaminants from semi-porous surfaces like wood, brick and concrete without damaging their strength. It can thus be used in areas where other methods can’t.
Furthermore, dry-ice blasting can be used indoors and outdoors because it respects environmental standards.
Dry ice blasting can be utilized in many different types of industries. The unique properties of dry ice make it an ideal cleaning solution in many commercial and manufacturing settings.

Clean In Place (In Situ): Dry Ice Blasting
Prevent equipment downtime and productivity gaps with dry ice blasting for cleaning and preventive maintenance When machines are taken down during planned downtime, a thorough cleaning with dry ice (CO2) blasting can remove rust, carbon buildup, grease, and other substances without the mess, damage or the threat of corrosion that water-based and abrasive c leaning methods can leave behind.
Clean in place is a cost-effective process that lets you protect your most valuable equipment while staying on your critical path and is ideal for the equipment below.
Turbines There is no faster, more effective or consistent cleaning method for natural gas turbines than dry ice blasting. This thorough and non- abrasive method helps prevent unplanned outages and reduces planned outage time by 60-90% for turbine OEMs (including GE and Siemens), turbine servicing companies, and power plant main tenance managers
Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR) Units
Sponge blasting in-place helps ensure good flow and distribution, a good ammonia-to-NOx balance, and maximum catalyst surface area for NOx and mercury oxidation in your SCR by removing hardened ash in ways that traditional hand-cleaning, vacuuming and vibration cleaning can’t – with less risk and at lower cost.
Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG)
Cleaning HRSG tubes clogged with sulfur, salt, corrosion, other debris, and deposits is a critical step in ensuring plant efficiency, but the process often risks the integrity of the system. Dry ice blasting provides a safe and effective cleaning method to ensure your heat recovery systems run smoothly year-round, and will be quickly performed within your critical path timeline during your next shutdown when you use Polar Clean.
Food Processing Equipment
Dry ice removes the grease, wax, proteins, seasonings, crumbs, glue, and other materials that build-up on food manufacturing and processing equipment and reduce their efficiency. Traditional manual cleaning methods are time-consuming, not fully effective, and can leave behind water and waste. Polar Clean dry ice blasting provides a superior cleaning process that can reduce cleaning time by up to 80%, and eliminate secondary waste, resulting in a significant reduction of overall cleaning costs.

Shutdown & Turnaround Cleaning: Dry Ice Blasting
Get an edge on the competition with deep cleaning of critical equipment during planned shutdowns and turnarounds—on time and within budget—with dry ice blasting that leaves your equipment protected against build-up and debris that can reduce efficiency and lifespan. Dry ice blasting is a turnaround planner’s best friend because it’s the most effective media for achieving thorough cleaning with predictable, critical path execution that lets you stay on schedule, especially when performed by Polar Clean.
Traditional, manual cleaning methods are time-consuming, less effective, and usually involve significant amounts of water and resulting waste. Dry ice blasting is fully effective, non-abrasive and non-corrosive, using material that sublimates and requires no follow-up cleaning. It’s also more environmentally friendly than any other media, and can be performed safely in confined and hard-to-reach spaces.cleaning costs.

Emergency Maintenance Cleaning:
